SEBI Full Form is Securities and Exchange Board of India. It was established in the year 1988 in order to regulate functions of the security market. It is headquartered in Mumbai. It has four regional offices New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Ahmadabad and it has opened offices Bangalore and Jaipur and planning offices at Bhubaneshwar, Patna, Chandigarh and Guwahati etc. The main objectives of It is to protect the interest of investors in securities and to promote the development of securities market.
