What is the Full Form of CAG?

CAG Full Form is Comptroller and Auditor General of India. Its headquarters is in New Delhi. It is an authority which is established under Article 148 of the constitution of India. It is also responsible for functioning as an external auditor of the corporations owned by the Government. Who audits the expenditure of State & Central government including the companies owned by Government of India. It has employed nearly eight thousand people all over the nation.  It  is appointed by the president of India on the recommendation of Prime Minister of India for a term of 6 years.
