What is the Full Form of IPO?

IPO Full Form is Initial Public Offering. This term refers to the first stock sold by a company to the public and then get traded in any stock exchange. IPOs are often issued by smaller,  younger companies seeking the capital to expand. After it has been successfully conducted, shares are traded freely in the open market and money flows among several public investors.
The capital raised through IPO can be used to fund research, development, marketing programs and to pay off the debts.
