IDE Full Form is Integrated Development Environment.It is a software application  provides comprehensive facilities to computer programmers for software development, is do normally consist of a source code editor build automation tools and a debugger.An IDEs have intelligent code completion and Its such as NetBeans Eclipse contain a compiler interpreter or both others such as SharpDevelop and Lazarus do not. It is a version control system various tools to simplify the construction of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) are integrated. Many modern IDEs also have made a class browser and  an object browser class hierarchy diagram, for use in object-oriented software development.

NetBeans is a software development platform written in Java and Platform allows applications to be developed from a set of modular software components called modules. Application based on the NetBeans Platform with the NetBeans integrated development environment can be extended by third party developers and  IDE is primarily intending for development in Java. It is also supports other languages, in particular PHP, C/C++ and HTML5.

 For example :- An IDE for the .NET applications is Microsoft Visual Studio and IDE for developing Java Applications, an Integrated Development Environment of NetBeans can be used.

 History:- IDEs initially became developing via a console or terminal. It is  early systems could not support one, This since programs were prepared using flowcharts, entering programs with punched cards or paper tape etc before submitting them to a compiler. Dartmouth BASIC was the first language to be created with an IDE for use  sitting in front of a console or terminal.citation needed. It was IDE part of the Dartmouth on Time Sharing System based and did not look like the menu-driven, created IDEs popular as of 2015.  However it integrated editing file management compilation, debugging and was Sharing execution in a manner consistent with a modern IDE.
