What is the Full Form of ALU?

ALU Full Form is Arithmetic Logic Unit. It is one of the primary building blocks of any computer ciruits. The ALU is designed exclusively to perform mathematical and logical operations and In computing, an arithmetic logic unit (ALU) is a digital circuit that performs arithmetic and logical operations. The ALU is a fundamental building block of the central processing unit (CPU) of a computer, and even the simplest microprocessors contain one for purposes such as maintaining timers. The processors found inside modern CPUs and graphics processing units (GPUs) have inside them very pow erful and very complex ALUs; a single component may contain a number of ALUs.
ALU consist of three parallel data buses of which two are operands and one is result data. data bus is nothing its a group of signals that convey binary integer number. Logically it deals with opcode and operands only. The resultant value is stored into the Register. Here Register to refers to the small block of memory available in CPU or The processor is a device which performs certain operations on given data and gives the desired suitable output. The processor is a integrated circuit of minute circuitry elements such as capacitors, transistors, diodes etc. which are interlinked in terms of minute semi conductor connections on a layer of silicon to form physical devices such as RAM, ROM and logic gates which are again interconnected to work as a whole unit. The processor has sub-units that are ALU CU & internal or external memory.
The ALU performs arithmetic and logic operations such as all mathematical operations (+ - * / > < = ) and logic - true or  false operations on the data.
