UNIX Full Form is UNiplexed Information Computing System. It was named as "UNiplexed Information Computing System" in need the data. It is first release in 1969 has been evolved by a variety of implementers including Apple, IBM and Sun, is a popular operating system developed at Bell Labs in the early 1970s.

It went AT&T finally sell rights in Unix to Novell in the early 1990s.  Its went sold  in Unix business to the Santa Cruz Operation  in 1995 but the UNIX trademark passed to the industry standards consortium The Open Group. It is use of allow the mark for certified operating systems compliant with the Single UNIX. The Apple's macOS the Unix version the largest installed in 2014. It was available for educational use at a nominal fee many variants available of UNIX. It are free for use but others are master modified for a number of time so that  becomes more suitable and effective in use.
