PDA Full Name is Personal Digital Assistant. It is a mobile device functions as a personal information manager and  term evolved from Personal Desktop Assistant, a software term for an application that prompts or prods the user of a computer with suggestions or provides quick reference to contacts and other lists. After the widespread adoption of highly capable smartphones, especially on iOS and Android, in early 2010. Almost all PDAs have the ability to connect to the Internet. A PDA has an electronic visual display, which includes a web browser. All models also have audio capabilities, which allow the use of portable media players, and most of them are able to use it as a mobile phone. Most PDAs can access the Internet, intranets, or extranets through Wi-Fi or wireless wide area networks. Most PDAs work as touchscreen technology.

 Many of the original PDAs, such as Apple Newton and Palm Pilot, show touchscreen for user contact. There were separate pencils to facilitate selection, including some touchscreen PDAs and Windows Mobile devices. The user can use the button or issue the command


 Touchscreen PDAs are targeted for business use, such as Blackberry and Palm Treo, usually providing full keyboard and scroll wheel or thumb wires for convenience to data entry and navigation. Many touchscreen PDAs support a special folding keyboard, which offer a full-sized keyboard, but the collapse of compact size for transport is available for many models. External keyboards can be directly attached to PDAs using a cable or can use wireless technology such as infrared or Bluetooth to connect to PDAs. New PDAs such as HTC HD2, Apple iPhone, Apple iPod Touch and Palm Pre, Palm Pre Plus, Palm Pixie, Palm Pixie Plus, include more advanced forms of Google Android touchscreens that can simultaneously register multiple forms simultaneously These "multi-touch" allows more for more sophisticated interfaces using different organs displayed.
