UGC Full Form is University Grants Commission of India. University Grants Commission is an organization which looks after the rules, regulation and standards of India Universities. It is in charge of maintaining and determining the norms of higher education. This is known as the UGC or University Grants Commission. It has decentralized through the six centers in Bhopal, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Guwahati and Pune.
